After a thrilling opening game last weekend, Colorado Buffaloes Football came back to play Week 2 against Nebraska and confirmed the hype is 100% real. Coach Prime didn’t only captivate people from the entire state but he is also bringing all the attention from a whole nation. With son Shedeur Sanders as QB1, he threw for 393 yards and got 3 TDs and put on a show with wide receiver Xavier Weaver. Although Nebraska is already 0-2 this season, they hadn’t lost by such a great margin since 2001, which means the Buffaloes made history with today’s result. A final 36-14 victory for the Buffaloes that keeps on adding to the hype of a new NCAA season. Coach Prime was hyped up when the game ended in a win for his boys.

Colorado Buffaloes fans storm the field after the victory

If you don’t believe the hype in Colorado Buffaloes Football is real, all you have to do is look at what happened right after the game ended. The final whistle made all the fans storm the field as if they just won the NCAA championship. Scenes were wild as coach Deion Sanders left the field surrounded by security with a big smile on his face. That’s a man who knows he is on his way to keep the momentum going while certain that his son has the winning formula as the quarterback. The Sanders family is the one carrying this team as they still haven’t played against the most powerful teams in the college league. A 2-0 start for Colorado is great in order to boost confidence but we still have to see how they do against the actual big dogs.

That level confidence from Deion Sanders alone has been more than enough to fix aspects of the Colorado defense that seemed fixable in Week 1. It was the most improved aspect of the entire team because the offense is well taken care of with his son leading the charge as quarterback. Next week, we have a massive grudge game between teams from two Colorado colleges as the Buffaloes take on the Colorado State Rams. Folsom Field will be open for business again for all Buffaloes students who are eager to keep witnessing history from Coach Prime and his boys.
