Houston Rockets guard Dillon Brooks reignited his beef with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James on Monday night at Toyota Center by hitting him in the face.

James, 39, said “next question” during his postgame interview when a reporter asked him how he felt about Brooks not receiving an ejection for the slap. Officials gave him a flagrant 1 foul and both players stayed in the game.

Lakers enforcer Jarred Vanderbilt was ejected in the second quarter after receiving two technical fouls during a scuffle with Brooks.

Vanderbilt, 24, pushed Brooks below the neck for his first technical and then tapped him on the back of the head to draw the second tech, plus ejection.

Anthony Davis bashes Dillon Brooks

Lakers big man Anthony Davis told the media that Brooks should have been ejected after his initial run-in with Vanderbilt, but especially after hitting James.

Brooks, 28, has been a pebble in James’ shoe since last season when he called him “old” while playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.

James has tried his best to not give Brooks any attention, especially since the King must also deal with Rockets head coach Ime Udoka, who recently called him a “bitch.”
