The Dallas Mavericks secured a 147-97 victory against the Utah Jazz, marked by Luka Doncic‘s historic 60th career triple-double. However, the triumph was marred by a taunting incident, as Kris Dunn confronted Doncic, resulting in both players receiving technical fouls.
The altercation unfolded in the third quarter when Dunn, assigned to guard Doncic, took issue with the latter’s moves. In response, Doncic provocatively laughed at Dunn, leading to the technical fouls.

“I didn’t do nothing he just mad I’m busting his a**,” Doncic told the referees.
Despite the disruption, Doncic pulled off a stellar performance, contributing 40 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds in just 31 minutes.
“I don’t know,” Doncic said after the game.
“I didn’t do nothing. We were, I mean, a little bit of pushing in that but for sure there is a technical foul ’cause I didn’t do nothing.
“He puts a finger in my face and I just left so I don’t know how I got the tech. I don’t know. These things happen in the game. It’s part of the game.”
Making history again
Particularly noteworthy was his achievement of a triple-double by halftime, marking the fifth-fastest in NBA history and the first to reach a 25-point triple-double before the break. Kyrie Irving and Tim Hardaway Jr. also played crucial roles, scoring 26 and 17 points, respectively.
On the opposing side, Ochai Agbaji led the Jazz with 21 points, while Dunn finished with eight points. Looking ahead, the Mavericks are set to face the Portland Trail Blazers on December 8 and the Memphis Grizzlies three days later.
