As if Travis Kelce didn’t have enough of enduring anonymous trolls on social media, now the NFL’s account on X, formerly Twitter, also made him the target of an epic trolling in a Halloween cartoon.
In the cartoon, you can see Travis dressed in the iconic jacket with shiny fringes that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, wears at her “The Eras Tour” concerts.
But Travis is not alone. Carrying an inevitable bag of Halloween candy, the Chiefs’ tight end appears in an animated conversation with his brother Jason, the Eagles’ center who wears a Batman mask, just like he did at the end of the 2022 season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Behind Travis, Packers quarterback Jordan Love can be seen dressed up as Cupid, aiming an arrow at “Tay Tay’s” unsuspecting boyfriend. Love is in the air, even at a Halloween party.
The most representative faces of the NFL trolled
But Kelce, and Taylor Swift indirectly, weren’t the only ones. The 32 teams in the league are well-represented by their best-known faces.
The cartoonist made sure to depict Broncos head coach Sean Payton disguised as the viral image of actor Kevin James that circulated on social media in October.
The cartoonist also didn’t spare Steelers receiver George Pickens, who, during training camp, said that his skills make him look like an alien. Now, we see him disguised as such.
The NFL artist couldn’t miss Terry McLaurin from the Commanders as Jason Voorhees, Oday Aboushi from the Cardinals as a mime, Micah Parson from the Cowboys as a lion, nor the Seahawks’ D.K. Metcalf painted green in the characteristic Hulk pose.
The strangest costumes
Hawks’ Bijan Robinson was trolled for appearing dressed as a bottle of his mustard brand, “Bijan Mustardson.” Alongside him, the Jets’ Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner dressed up as…a hot sauce bottle.
Bears’ DJ Moore is the party’s disc jockey, wearing a bear mask, and Gardner Minshew was trolled for appearing only in jean shorts and sunglasses, just like in the iconic photo he posted when he received the call that he was chosen by the Colts in the draft.
