Haaland replied ‘you cannot do this’ but proceeded to hand the defender his shirt before they went their separate ways.
Often players swap shirts at full-time but it is unheard of for a player to request such a keepsake from an opposing player mid-game.
He had already scored once as Pep Guardiola‘s men went into the break 2-0 up, but he scored a stunner after half-time to make it 3-0.
‘You should ask him for his jersey after that one,’ quipped TNT Sports co-commentator Ally McCoist after he rifled a finish into the top corner.

City’s next three games are against Chelsea – fresh from a 4-1 win over Tottenham – Liverpool, and RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
Next month, they face Spurs and Aston Villa to round off a tricky five-match run.
They are back at the top of the Premier League after beating Bournemouth 6-1 this weekend and due to Spurs’ loss at home to Chelsea – Ange Postecoglou’s first Premier League defeat.
