Gervonta Davis visited Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in his locker room moments before he came out to the ring for his fight versus Jaime Munguia in Las Vegas.
The two shared a moment in which the Mexican boxer received a hug from the American fighter.
Davis wished the Mexican fighter got luck after sharing laughed and a picture before leaving the locker room.
Both Alvarez and Davis have had heated disputes in the past, but it all seems water under the bridge.
Last year there were some conversations about who has the face of boxing and both boxers raised their hands but also their voices.
“Canelo” refused to accept that Davis was the face of boxing saying that he recognized that he was a great boxer with many great victories, but that he needed to do more in the ring to be considered that.
Davis received the comment gladly
Davis had received comments about him being exactly that, but the Mexicans comments led to believe these could see each other on the ring soon.
For now, Davis did say on the broadcast that he is taking his time to plan his future to try and continue his own legacy.
