The government is set to unveil plans to ban sex education for children under the age of nine.

According to the plans, the government will issue advice to schools stating children under the age of nine should not be given sex education classes. However, the plans have proved controversial, and have come under criticism.

The government has not yet commented on the plans, although they are expected to be officially unveiled.
