Whether or not Ivanka Trump sought help from Henry David Thoreau, one of America’s most respected essayists, to throw some literary shade at Stormy Daniels, isn’t exactly clear at this time. However, Ivanka would certainly have more than one reason to feel uneasy about all of the negative attention surrounding Daniels’ candid recounting of the time she supposedly spent with Donald Trump. Plus, Daniels seemingly indirectly mentioned her on the witness stand during a disturbing piece of testimony. At one point, Daniels claimed that Donald told her, “You remind me of my daughter,” in 2006 (via People).

Although Daniels didn’t actually name any names, she also revealed that Donald referenced the daughter’s blonde hair and intelligence. And while that theoretically could apply to Tiffany Trump as well, Donald’s relationship with Ivanka has been deemed as inappropriate at times, thanks to the former president’s comments. For example, Donald admitted that he might date Ivanka if it weren’t for their familial relationship. “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure,” he said on “The View” while discussing whether or not he thought Ivanka would pose for Playboy (via the Independent). “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her,” he added.
