After Logan Paul’s win against Dillon Danis, it is now Jake Paul’s time to keep going in his boxing journey that has taken him all the way to a surprising 7-1 record thus far. amongst all the opponents he’s faced, there are multiple MMA fighters and an actual professional boxer. His only defeat came against Tommy Fury and Jake Paul vowed to get that rematch against him soon. However, there are many different possible opponents that could be next in line to fight the ‘Problem Child‘ in a December match that will soon be announced. But who could be Jake Paul’s next opponent? There are really three options that could potentially be on the Youtuber’s mind.
Jake Paul mocking KSI vs. Tommy Fury bout by offering a ‘free rebroadcast’
Tommy Fury inside the ring
Jake Paul’s only defeat came against the younger brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy also recently won a controversial fight against KSI and kept his record clean. For Paul, this is the most obvious next match because he wants revenge against the only man who has defeated him inside the ring. December might be too soon to fight him though, given that he just fought in October. If this rematch were to happen, it would be until February 2024, not December.
Nate Diaz inside the octagon
After beting Nate Diaz, Jake Paul kept telling the UFC legend he would be game to fight inside an octagon in an MMA fight. However, the Youtuber has zero experience in this type of sport and he would likely be an easy target for Diaz. Regardless of this, Jake would be willing to take him up on the offer simply because he wants to try out new things. Given that they fought all the way back in August, a December date makes more sense if Nate Diaz is the opponent. The PFL reportedly offered Nate Diaz $15 million to fight Jake Paul inside a cage but the Stockton native doesn’t think the ‘Problem Child’ is ready for this challenge.
Grudge match against KSI
Jake Paul has a grudge against KSI for the relationship he has developed with brother Logan Paul. Also, they have been going back and forth for a while while teasing a potential fight. In terms of getting a brand new opponent, this is the fight that would work better for Jake. But there is only one problem, KSI recently fought Tommy Fury and he wouldn’t be available to fight until February, 2024. Most Valuable Promotions teased the next opponent by stating it was a fighter with a winning record but they didn’t offer many more clues.
