Kansas City Chiefs‘ defensive back, Justin Reid, believes his teammate, Patrick Mahomes, is making a strong case for the title of NFL’s Greatest of All Time (GOAT), potentially surpassing Tom Brady. Reid praised Mahomes‘ ability to lead the team, emphasizing that they never feel out of a game with Mahomes at quarterback.

With Mahomes set to make his fourth Super Bowl appearance in just his sixth season as a starter, boasting two MVPs and six Pro Bowl honors, Reid suggests Mahomes would likely have a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame if he retired after the upcoming Super Bowl.

Travis Kelce laughs about ignoring Patrick Mahomes play calls in the Chiefs huddle

“The guy is a Hall of Famer,” Reid told TMZ Sports.

“First ballot. Probably the best player in NFL history. And he just keeps getting better.

“You can be down 24. You can be up 15. Whatever it is — as long as Fifteen has the ball in his hands, you know you’ve got a shot to win.”

Praised Spagnuolo

Reid also commended his defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo, for his dedication to the team, even creating “In Spags We Trust” t-shirts for charity.

Additionally, Reid discussed the Chiefs‘ upcoming opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, and his relationship with former Stanford teammate Christian McCaffrey, hinting at high expectations for the game in Las Vegas on February 11.
