At the start of the week, the oldest of LeBron’s sons suffered a cardiac arrest during practice hour at USC. He was fortunately rushed to the hospital in time and he was already out of the ICU before the news story broke. As soon as it all was announced, countless demonstrations of support from the entire world who knows about LeBron James started coming. His entire family is beloved by millions and this update from the big man himself was expected. However, there are some nuanced aspects of his post via the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.

At 18 years of age and having a cardiac arrest may not seem normal as we go through a post-pandemic climate all around the world. But heart attacks in athletes are more common than you might think. LeBron James surely doesn’t want to say anything about this yet but he did leave a bread crumb with his latest X post. He writes: “I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!”
Saying there is more he wants to talk about on the topic means that what he has to say is important and it has to be a direct response to rumors about Bronny’s vaccination status. For now, there is no way to confirm that what LeBron James says about this is in any way related to these rumors and speculation. For now, we can only feel grateful Bronny James is on his way to a full recovery. Great news coming from the king himself but still leaving some room for even further speculation. What ever he talks about, Bronny is the one who matters here and speculating about his future is definitely not okay.
