Leo Messi’s fans held their breath while watching the World Cup Champion perform a risky move during Inter Miami’s last training session, specifically when they saw Leo Messi feel slight pain and stop practicing, although at the end of the session, everything was as before and everyone in the team traveled to Philadelphia to face their Leagues Cup semifinal match.

Ahead of the match for a ticket to the final of the Leagues Cup between Inter Miami and Philadelphia Union, the Florida team held the last practice before flying to the match’s venue, and while trying to make a regular pass, Messi suffered a blow that set off alarms for a few minutes, although everything was just a scare and did not become a big deal.

The video of the training session that surfaced on social media shows Lionel Messi making routine movements on the field, but at one point he hit his left foot on the synthetic grass where he was training, and felt sore.
Leo immediately showed signs of pain as he limped and in the background were Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba smiling, who apparently did not seem to be worried, as it was not a major blow.

“I was in part of the training session, then we had a chat and I was finishing it off. I didn’t see exactly what happened. If it had been something serious, they would all be shocked, but they were fine, I think nothing happened to him,” said Tata Martino at a press conference before the team’s trip to Philadelphia.
