An obstruction on an A-road has caused traffic chaos around Sherburn In Elmet.
The A162 Northbound has been partially blocked from Mill Lane, in South Milford, to The B1222, in Sherburn In Elmet since before 6am this morning (Monday, May 13). There’s congestion to routes through and around Sherburn and about one and a half miles before South Milford.
The nature of the obstruction is not yet known. Traffic data site Inrix said: “The A162 Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road from Mill Lane (South Milford) to The B1222 (Sherburn In Elmet). Congestion to Routes through and around Sherburn In Elmet and around 1 and a half miles before South Milford.”
