Traffic is being held on the M62 after a lorry fire broke out on the motorway.

According to the traffic management system, Inrix, traffic is being temporarily held on the M62 eastbound following the fire. This is taking place between junction 24 at the A629 and junction 23 by Huddersfield.

Queuing traffic is building both on the M62 and on the exit slip road as drivers try to avoid the held traffic.
