Officers have shut a slip road due to an ongoing police incident on the M62. Junction 26 at Chain Bar (Cleckheaton) has been shut by traffic police while cops deal with an ‘incident’.
The westbound side of the slip road has been shut since 7.38pm on Friday evening. Traffic scanners say the exit slip road on the busy section of the motorway network which runs through Yorkshire has been closed.
INRIX says: “M62 Westbound lane closed on exit slip road due to police incident at J26 M606 J1 (Chain Bar).”
