Two lanes have been closed on the M62 following a car crash earlier this morning.
Our traffic management system Inrix reports two lanes are currently closed between junction 22 at the A672 Rishworth Moor to junction 23 at the A640 New Hey Road, Huddersfield. Motorway cameras are currently showing queueing traffic building up at the scene.
The crash is on the eastbound side of the busy motorway. It is unclear how many cars are involved in the crash, or if anyone has been injured.

Inrix states: “Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M62 Eastbound from J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) to J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield).
“Lanes two and three (of three) closed, with traffic being passed via lane one.”
