Lionel Messi took stock of his season in Miami since arriving in the summer with the season already underway.
The Argentine arrived with the team struggling at the wrong end of the table, but revived their hopes and they narrowly missed out on a playoff spot.
“I am proud of everything the team achieved this season,” he said.
“With everyone’s hard work and effort, we were able to win the @leaguescup, achieving the first title in the history of the Inter Miami, we reached the final of the Lamar Hunt U.S. @opencup and we were even fighting to get into the @mls Playoffs practically until the last moment.”
Looking forward to the future
Messi believes that there is room for improvement in the future.
“We keep all the good things and above all the desire to improve in order to be even more competitive next year,” he said, showing his ambition.
“I would like to thank all the people of the club and the city of Miami for the support they always give us.
“I am sure that we will continue to experience incredible moments together as we have in the last few months.”
