While tons of stars are present at the Met Gala – the internet seems particularly outraged by one that’s not: Taylor.

X, formerly Twitter, has become ablaze with angry posts about her absence at the ball.

The singer put on a busty display in a bold red gown with thigh-high slit, side cut-outs, and a dazzling center broach.

The musician embodied the Garden of Time theme.

The actress swapped her normally blonde locks for a dark brown bob.

The model beauty, 36, wowed in a black gown created just for her by Ludovic de Saint Sernin.

And she dropped in on Instagram to share the details of her custom-made gown with her 21.5 million followers.

‘This dress is a true work of art, each piece of metal and Swarovski crystal was meticulously hand placed; 500 hours of hand work went into this extraordinary gown,’ she wrote.

She paired the gown with a feather headpiece and two diamond necklaces that she draped over her neck and back.

The glimmering dress cascaded to the floor and was teamed with a stylish black coat, complete with the same floral print.

Chris, 40, and Elsa, 47, were almost half-way down the carpet doing interviews when the American actor, 51, made his grand arrival at the gala.
