The Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss against the Denver Broncos since 2015 on Sunday, which coincidentally happened shortly after Travis Kelce was spotted at the World Series in Texas.
Nick Lowery, a Chiefs Hall of Fame kicker, and former NFL leader in field goal percentage and field goals made, made a connection between the two events.
“I’m just gonna say this once…. I adore my Chiefs,” Lowery posted on Facebook.
“I love Patrick… I love Travis, and it’s been fun witnessing the ‘Taylor factor’- as long as it’s not a distraction… However, when I saw Travis watching the World Series in Texas….on a Friday night before a road game….do I have to finish the sentence?

“It’s always about staying hungry and humble. We don’t know what time he got home on Friday night.
“But it’s a distraction, and it’s not a good message to the rest of the team. Travis is a phenomenal, full of life true leader the players look up to, a superb human being, and one of the greatest Chiefs of all time – period, and one of my favorite people anywhere….
“We will bounce back! Let this be a lesson.”
Discussed Kelce’s affair with Swift
The Chiefs‘ offense was stifled in the 24-9 defeat, marking their first loss since Week 1. Additionally, Lowery discussed Kelce‘s affair with Taylor Swift on Michele Tafoya‘s show.
“If anybody could handle it, it’s Travis Kelce,” Lowery noted.
“If he was 26 or 27, he’s 33, she’s 33, this ain’t their first rodeo. He’s won two Super Bowls, he’s hosted ‘Saturday Night Live,’ he’s on almost as many as Taylor, maybe more.
“His personality, he’s going to go into acting, I mean I can just see it. He does seem to play as well or better when she’s in the stadium.”
