A popular Rotherham pub has reopened following a major makeover.

The Sir Jack, based in Moorhead Way, Bramley, is back in business following the six-figure renovation designed to revitalise the existing pub site and adjoining Wacky Warehouse. Sir Jack closed its doors at the beginning of May for the works.

Inside, the pub has received a complete refurbishment. There’s new plush furniture, contemporary décor and upgraded restrooms.

For the first time since opening, the adjoining Wacky Warehouse space has been completely revamped, with the party area receiving an entire rebuild to create a warm and welcoming space to celebrate little one’s milestones in a safe and comfortable environment. The ‘grown-ups’ area has also received an upgrade, with free Wi-Fi available throughout and an enhanced café.

The outdoor area has enjoyed a new look with a covered canopy, improved comfortable seating, mood lighting and upgraded heating. The investment in the Rotherham pub has provided several job opportunities for the local community with the pub team having expanded by eight new positions.

Martin Jones-South, general manager of the Sir Jack, said: “Our team at Sir Jack is excited to be re-establishing ourselves as a pub that is at the heart of the community and can’t wait to welcome back both new and old customers to showcase our improved offering. The revamp has brought a whole new lease of life to the pub, and we’re confident that customers will love our new facilities.”
