According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, influential players in Las Vegas are rallying behind Pierce, solidifying his status as the top candidate. It is widely anticipated that Pierce will ultimately secure the head coach role, with insiders expressing surprise if he doesn’t.
While other coaching options exist, Raiders owner Mark Davis seems to be zeroing in on Pierce, refraining from conducting interviews with alternative head-coaching candidates at present. Despite initial interest in Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, Pierce remains the primary target for the Raiders’ leadership.
