Real Madrid want to sign Yoro and Mastantuono as soon as possible

Leny Yoro continues to take the right steps to become a Real Madrid player in the next summer transfer window.

The centre-back is not renewing his contract with Lille, whose directors know that sooner or later they will have to request a real price and not the 100 million euros they have asked for in the first contacts.

While the French defender has become a priority target, another of those young talents has appeared on the horizon. We are talking about Franco Mastantuono, a 16-year-old River Plate attacking midfielder.

Real Madrid is clear that the basis of the reinforcements of the first team should be focused on players with room to develop, that is to say, young talent. This option gives the possibility of planning without the urgency of others.

There is nothing unusual for Real Madrid about bringing in players between 18 and 20 years of age. The list is extensive: Vinicius Jr,Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler and Endrick to name a few.

The next names are already written in the Valdebebas offices: Leny Yoro and Franco Mastantuono. They are 18 and 16 years old respectively. Both players are wanted by half of Europe, but Real Madrid have already made the appropriate moves.

Yoro gets closer to Real Madrid

The move for Yoro is more advanced. The player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already let the club know that the moment of negotiation with Lille is approaching.

The footballer seems convinced that his destination is Real Madrid. It is true that the club still has to put together the pieces for next season and check that both David Alaba and Eder Militao leave behind the traumatic and tough injuries suffered this season. There is also the future of Nacho Fernandez to consider.

In any case, the club’s sporting management and Carlo Ancelotti himself see Yoro as the player to sign, the defender who has a decade and a half ahead of him to be a starter at Real Madrid.
