Ryan Garcia is once again in the news, and once again it’s for all of the wrong reasons. Garcia was arrested on Saturday night in Beverly Hills.
Garcia was arrested for felony vandalism. According to law enforcement sources that TMZ spoke with, the boxer allegedly damaged property at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old was wearing a helmet while being led out in handcuffs by police officers. It was only a few days ago that a family member of Garcia’s asked police for a welfare check on him while he was staying at the hotel.
Everyone became aware of Garcia’s concerning behavior in the leadup to his fight against Devin Haney. His social media antics made everyone concerned for his well-being. Although most of it was exaggerated, Garcia admitted after the fight that he drank and smoked every single day leading up to the event. He was then found to have tested positive for a banned substance that could make his win illegitimate.
It’s becoming very clear that Garcia may have a drinking problem, and will likely need to get outside help in order to get himself on the right path once again, both professionally and personally.
