Ryan Garcia threw yet another wrench into the Devin Haney fight plans on Friday, when he came in three pounds heavier than allowed during the final weigh-in.

A lot of things can go into a boxer missing weight, but it usually falls on the fighter not being disciplined enough and miscalculating. According to Garcia, his mishap had nothing to do with any of that.

In a post right after the weigh-in, Garcia explained that his pre-fight antics led to it.
Garcia is obviously being extremely sarcastic, something that has become all too common with the 25-year-old over the past couple of months.
Whatever led to Garcia missing weight, it’s another bad look to add to the growing list of bad looks that have befallen Garcia since the fight was announced. His concerning social media behavior has clearly just been a gimmick in order to “promote” the fight.
Whether it worked on Haney and whether the extra three pounds will have any bearing on the outcome of the fight, we’ll find out on Saturday night.
