Stacey Solomon Sort Your Life Out viewers are hoping for a new series of the hit BBC show as it has now come to an end.

During tonight’s episode of the cleaning show, Stacey visited the Wellen family and alongside her team they helped them declutter and reorganise their home to create space for them to foster a child.

Mother Shirley struggles to let go of her adopted daughters’ childhood items for fear of losing precious memories and father Martin faces the same challenges, having grown up in a home where nothing was thrown away.

It proved to be a challenge for Stacey as they discovered 306 soft toys, 124 towels, 106 spanners and 189 out of date food items.

Among the toys was a doll with one eye and Stacey wanted to get rid of it. She told Shirley: “We were thinking of perhaps letting go of the one-eye doll.”

Shirley revealed: “She was my baby when I was just eight years old.” Stacey asked: “What made you hold on to her?” Shirley fought back tears as she revealed: “When I was a child I used to hold her like a real baby and talk to her and I used to say things to her that my mother never told me, which was ‘I will always look after you for the rest of my life’ and that’s why she is with me.”

Stacey got emotional as she said: “I’m so sorry I feel like I am partly to blame for this.” Later on Stacey admitted that she felt bad for taking the doll so she gave the toy a mini makeup and replaced the missing eye. Shirley broke down in tears when Stacey surprised her with her childhood doll.

Elsewhere Carpenter Rob upcycles an old wardrobe to create almost double the storage space while Iwan gives the home a supersize spring clean. Dilly reorganises Martin and Shirley’s bedroom which has stayed the same for the last 40 years.

Viewers rushed straight to the comment section as they claimed that they were ‘ready to write to Ofcom’ if they got rid of the doll. Meanwhile others hope there will be a new series as the show has come to an end.
