Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs may have been playing in Germany, but that didn’t stop Taylor Swift and a group of wives and girlfriends of the team’s players from showing their support.
The ladies congregated at Swift’s Tribeca apartment to watch the Chiefs pull off a 21-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins. In attendance were Shane Buechele’s wife, Paige, and Blake Bell’s partner, Lyndsay, who celebrated the win with smiles as they left Swift’s pad.
Also joining in on the fun was Miranda Hogue, a close friend of Brittany Mahomes, who also attended the game-watching gathering.
The party just went on
The celebration didn’t end after the final whistle blew; the group continued the party at Casa Cipriani, one of Taylor’s favorite spots, and reveled in the victory for hours.
Despite the distance, the support from Taylor Swift and the Chiefs’ wives and girlfriends goes to show the strong camaraderie among the team’s players and their significant others.
Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have been spending a lot of time together recently, as they enjoyed a night out in New York City the night before with other celebrities like Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Gigi Hadid, and Cara Delevingne.
Swift is becoming the Chiefs Kingdom’s darling
Swift has been warmly welcomed into Chiefs Kingdom, and it seems Kelce performs even better when she’s there.
Although Kelce had a relatively quiet game with only three receptions for 14 yards in Sunday’s win, he made history by becoming the Chiefs’ all-time leading receiver, a milestone acknowledged by Taylor Swift on Instagram.
Swift’s warm relationships with the football community continue to grow, making her a familiar face in the stands during games. Although that may come to an end as the singer is embarking on a long tour around the world.
The international leg of Taylor’s succesful “Eras Tour” is starting on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and it will expand through almost a year with 82 concerts.
Wheter Traviswill join her for the Argentine stop remains to be seen.
