Despite hanging up his boots well over a year ago, Tom Brady remains an avid follower of the NFL. The legendary quarterback continues to follow the progress of his former teams, one of which is Michigan where he spent his formative years.

Tom Brady’s wild celebrations after Michigan’s 27-20 victory over Alabama

Brady couldn’t contain his excitement when his former team Michigan defeated Alambama 27-20 in overtime to clinch the Rose Bowl. The ex-Tampa and Patriots man could be seen celebrating wildly in an Instagram story he uploaded just after the referee put an end to the game- he filmed himself topless, shouting “let’s go” before laughing out loud.

The result was extra special for Brady on a personal level- It was 24 years ago when the quarterback managed to lead Michigan to a 35-34 overtime win in the same fixture over Alabama. It was a game that projected Brady’s career into the spotlight, and he never looked back.
