Ed Kelce, the father of NFL star Travis Kelce, has shared his admiration for Taylor Swift, with whom his son is currently in a relationship.
In his first interview since Kelce and Swift went public with their romance, Ed Kelce described the pop sensation as down-to-earth woman.
He shared his initial impression that Swift is “very genuine” and also highlighted her intelligence.

“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed told PEOPLE.
“We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around.
“Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.
“And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo.
“She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”

The interview took place shortly after Ed was seen chatting with Swift in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where both were supporting the Kansas City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers, with Ed donning a Chiefs jersey and Swift wearing a Chiefs windbreaker jacket.
Swift has now spent time with both of Travis‘ parents. At previous Chiefs games, she was seen sitting with Travis‘ mother, Donna.
Furthermore, she and Travis Kelce have been spotted holding hands as they left Arrowhead Stadium following a Chiefs victory.
