The atmosphere at the Dallas Cowboys training camp is getting intense, with some tension arising between Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs.

A video featuring unpleasant remarks from Diggs towards Prescott was shared by a Cowboys fan. In response, Prescott threw the ball in Diggs’ direction during practice.

“Trevon Diggs told Dak Prescott to “shut your b*tch a**pup” today at practice. Dak threw the football at Diggs as he jogged back to the defensive huddle… THIS TEAM IS WINNING THE DAMN SUPER BOWL!!!!” read the tweet.

As the regular season approaches, the competitive spirit among players is evident during training camp. Even the starters are competing fiercely for a spot in the final 53-man roster, as relative unknowns can outperform established players with exceptional performances during camp.

Altercations between players, like the aforementioned one, are not uncommon during training camps, especially during joint practices when offense and defense face off against each other.

Diggs, who recently signed a lucrative five-year, $97 million contract extension with the Cowboys, is determined to prove himself worthy of the deal after a somewhat disappointing season.

In 2021, he led the league with 11 touchdowns, but last season, he had only three. His pass deflections also decreased from 21 to 14. Nevertheless, he managed to earn a spot in the 2022 Pro Bowl despite the dip in his numbers.
