DRAMATIC footage captured the moment Ukrainian kamikaze drones blitzed Russian oil depots sparking massive fireball explosions.

The double surgical attack one Tuapse in the Black Sea took Russian forces by complete surprise – and forced them to close the facility calling an emergency.

Footage showed thick black smoke billowing in the sky after the killer kamikaze drones rained hell from above.

One drone can be seen swooping towards the facility before accurately striking a major part – just minutes after an earlier attack.

The hit is believed to have obliterated the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unit at the refinery which was just restored by Putin’s pals following a previous Ukrainian air strike on January 24.

The state-owned Rosneft facility is Russia’s only oil refinery on the Black Sea – and one of the ten largest in the country.

Bursts of machine gun fire were heard in a failed bid to stop the kamikaze drones – followed by three explosions as they hit the target.

The strike was a joint operation by Ukraine’s SBU and GRU intelligence services.

The Pentagon says some 14 per cent of Russia’s refining capacity has been disrupted by a total of 18 successful attacks this year.

Exports are in disorder and domestic prices have hiked – significantly affecting Putin’s economy.

And Russia has been forced to surge aviation fuel imports from neighbouring Belarus.

The precision double strike came with the war’s heaviest night of kamikaze drone bombardment by Ukraine on Russia.

Explosions lit up the sky two nights ago in Novorossiysk and Sevastopol as over a hundred killer drones swarmed and blitzed three key ports.

The cities plunged into complete darkness a near-total failure of Russian air defence systems to stall the mass attack.

Locals reported the sounds of at least 40 explosions, while a top official ordered residents: “No one leaves the house. Neither for school nor for work.”

Remarkable footage showed multiple loudly buzzing Ukrainian kamikaze drones attacking an oil depot and port facilities in Novorossiysk at around 3am.

Reports suggested public transportation was not running, with traffic closed on some streets and local schools temporarily shut.

Russia admitted it faced more than 100 drones in the overnight onslaught which came as Putin, 71, was on his official visit to China along with his new defence minister Andrey Belousov, 65.

The defence chief faced even more humiliation after reports confirmed that Ukraine’s long-range MGM-140 ATACMS missiles destroyed at least four of Putin’s prized warplanes –  including MiG-31s and one Su-27.

The substantial destruction of the Belbek airbase in Crimea marked the biggest loss for Russia‘s warplanes since the start of Putin’s illegal war against Ukraine.

It comes as Putin has launched his feared summer offensive against Ukraine as the Russian army has been gaining ground in Kharkiv.

The US is rushing military aid to Ukraine to ramp up its defence after Putin amassed more than half a million troops on the frontline.

Ukrainian fighters had to withdraw in some parts of the country as Putin’s forces advanced on two fronts deep inside Ukrainian territory.

Kyiv’s military said it was sending more troops to Kharkiv to stave off Russian advances, where the Kremlin claims to have captured a number of villages.

The military previously admitted it was struggling to contain Russia’s advance in the northeast of the country – but there are now some signs the progress of Putin’s forces has slowed.
