It is unusual for NFL fans to be looking at the stands hoping to catch a glimpse of a certain figure in the VIP box, but that only speaks to the enormous effect Taylor Swift has had since she began dating Travis Kelce.
Kansas City Chiefs fans will be keeping a close eye on the suite to see if the singer turns up at Gillette Stadium on Sunday to cheer on her new beau as they take on the New England Patriots.

While the 34-year-old hasn’t made any concrete plans to watch Kelce in action, there appears to be a good chance that she will make an appearance.
Swift is currently on break from her sold-out Eras Tour, which picks back up in Tokyo in February and finished her birthday celebrations during the week in New York City.
And she has some good memories of her time in Foxboro, like the infamous Saturday rain show on her tour where she and thousands of fans danced for hours, leaving the likes of Patriots coach Bill Belichick apparently impressed.
According to NBC Sports Boston, a caller who allegedly has sources inside Gillette Stadium claimed the superstar will be there.
One of the show’s hosts, former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak, also said he heard she would make an appearance.
With kick-off scheduled for 13:00 (19:00 CET), ‘Swifties’ will be watching closely to see if the iconic songwriter decides to make an appearance.

At their previous match, a 20-17 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, Swift was seen enjoying the action alongside the daughters of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, with Kelce‘s mother Donna also present.
After the game, she was spotted holding hands with Kelce, also 34, as they made their way out of Arrowhead Stadium.

This fixture may not be a home game, but that hasn’t stopped her from making the trip before.
Swift has already taken in six Chiefs games since her relationship with the tight end was made official back in September, travelling to away games in New Jersey and Wisconsin.
That won’t come as a surprise, given her recent comments after winning TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year award for 2023.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
