Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes may no longer be in their own hands, but the Gunners are clearly doing everything they can to keep their dream alive.
Their stampeding form continued with a straightforward 3-0 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion which sent Mikel Arteta’s side back to the top of the table ahead of Liverpool’s meeting with Manchester United on Sunday.
It all started when Tariq Lamptey sent Gabriel Jesus tumbling inside the box on the hour mark. Up stepped Bukayo Saka, who once again made no mistake from 12 yards.

What was looking like a routine performance took a scary turn when centre-back Gabriel went down with a scary looking knock.
He’d get up and complete the full 90 minutes, but with Bayern Munich on the horizon, it was a sight Arsenal fans were keen to wipe from their memories.
Gabriel please be okay 😭🙏🏾

Any concerns were wiped out when the in-form Kai Havertz doubled Arsenal’s advantage on the hour mark.
He collected a cross from the byline from former Chelsea teammate Jorginho, leaving onlooking Blues fans with their heads in their hands.
Jorginho and Havertz combining to win Arsenal the title makes me vomit internally

Leandro Trossard was introduced to a chorus of boos from the home fans who felt betrayed when he jumped ship last year, but he would end up having the last laugh as he netted the third goal of the game.
With Brighton throwing everything forward late on, Trossard found himself with a clear run at goal from inside his own half and, when he eventually made it there, he unleashed a delightful dink over Bart Verbruggen to seal all three points.
Just had to be trossard to seal the deal🤣🔥

The win sees Arsenal return to the top of the Premier League table, and although there is still a lot of work to be done, Gunners fans were keen to celebrate the moment.
Arsenal’s defense is why I believe they’re favorites for the title. 14th clean sheet of the season today.

Arsenal back on top, quite an intriguing quality title race we have here

For me, Arsenal are the best team in the league and should win the title but man, the run-in is so tight I honestly can’t decided who’s going to do it
