However, the night turned into a nightmare when the family was relentlessly chased by paparazzi after the event, lasting over two hours. The paparazzi’s driving was highly aggressive, resulting in near-collisions involving other drivers, pedestrians, and even two NYPD officers. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Ragland, were understandably shaken but thankfully unharmed.
In a statement to POPSUGAR, a spokesperson for the Sussexes expressed that while being in the public eye comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.
