Every weekend, I’ll be glued to my Philips Android TV to watch Premier League football. To watch the ’23-’24 season of the Premier League, I’ll be using my Peacock TV subscription. To watch it on my Philips Android TV, I have installed the Peacock TV app on it and have subscribed to its Premium Plan, which costs $59.99/year.
Additionally, the Premier League is also telecasted on TV channels like USA Network and NBC Network. You can access these channels via Cable TV or TV Channel Streaming Services. The Matchday 17 is scheduled for December 09th & 10th.

Yes. Peacock TV is geo-restricted to the United States alone, and you can’t watch it outside the US. How to Watch Premier League on Philips Smart TV
As already mentioned, you need to download the Peacock TV app on your TV to stream the Premier League matches. The Peacock TV app is available on Philips Android, Roku, and Google TVs. All you need to do is purchase a Peacock TV subscription by visiting its official website and to install the app from the respective app stores on your TV. The procedure for every model of Philips TV is given below.
To Install Peacock TV on Philips Android/Google TV
1. Turn on your Philips Android/Google TV and connect it to the internet.
2. Go to the Home screen of your TV and click on Apps.
3. In that, navigate to the Google Play Store and click on the Search option.
NOTE: If you own a Philips Google TV, select the Search for apps and games under the Apps section.
4. Type in Peacock TV and search for the app.
5. Locate the Peacock TV app from the search result and hit the Install button.
6. After installation, launch the app and start the activation process.
To Install Peacock TV on Philips Roku TV
1. Power on and connect your Philips Roku TV to WIFI.
2. Tap the Home button on your Roku Voice or Enhanced remote and go to the Home screen.
3. Scroll down and click on Streaming Channels.
4. Next, select Search Channels and click on the Search bar provided alongside.
5. Enter Peacock TV using the on-screen virtual keyboard and search for the app.
6. Tap on the app from the search results and go to its info page.
7. Click Add Channel and install Peacock TV on your Philips Roku TV.
8. After adding it to your device, click Go to Channel to open the app.
How to Activate Peacock TV on Philips Smart TVs
After installation, you must activate the Peacock TV account on your Philips TV to stream its content. The activation procedure is similar for all Philips TV models.
1. Launch the Peacock TV app on your Philips TV.
2. Click on the Sign in option provided.
3. Now, your Philips TV will display an Activation Code along with a web activation link.
4. Open the activation link from the browser on your device and input the code shown on your TV. (https://www.peacocktv.com/activate)
4. After this, you’ll be asked to sign in to your Peacock TV account on the same browser.
Once signed in, refresh the Peacock TV app on your Philips TV, which will take you to your account. Now, you can start watching the Premier League matches.
Can I Sideload Peacock TV on Philips TV?
Yes, you can sideload, but only on Philips Android and Google TVs. Sideloading is a process where we download the app from third-party sources using a sideloading tool like Downloader. After installing the Downloader app on your Philips Android/Google TV, enable the installation of apps from unknown sources.
After this, open the Downloader app, paste the Peacock TV’s APK URL, and download the file. Once it gets downloaded, install the app and activate your Peacock TV account. After this, you can start live-streaming Premier League.
NOTE: You can’t sideload apps on Philips Roku, Saphi, and Net TVs.
Can I Cast Peacock TV to Philips TV to Watch Premier League
You can easily Cast Peacock TV from your Android Smartphone onto your Philips TV. To do this, download the Peacock TV app on your smartphone and connect it to the same WIFI network as your Philips TV. Then, sign in to your Peacock TV credentials and start playing Premier League matches on it. While it’s playing, click on the Cast icon provided at the top and select your Philips TV from the list of available devices. Now, the Premier League match gets displayed on your Philips TV.
Can I AirPlay Peacock TV to Philips TV to Watch Premier League
Yes. You can AirPlay on Philips Smart TV from any iOS device. To AirPlay from an iPhone, download the app from its app store and sign in to your account. After this, connect your Philips TV and your iPhone to the same WIFI network. Now, play the Premier League match you want to AirPlay and click on the AirPlay icon provided at the top. Choose your Philips TV and connect to it. Now, the content gets AirPlayed onto your Philips device.

For them, I would recommend watching it on TV Channel Streaming services like YouTube TV, Sling TV, etc., which offers a lot of TV channels. Here, I’ve mentioned a few streaming services that have Premier League channels telecasting channels like USA and NBC Network in their subscription packages. You need to add the respective apps on your TV.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV on Philips TV is one of the best TV channel streaming services. It offers 90+ live TV channels, including Premier League telecasting channels like USA Network and NBC Network. YouTube TV offers only one plan i.e. Base Plan, which costs $72.99/Month and comes with a free trial for a few days. All you need to do is install the YouTube TV app on your Philips TV and sign up for a plan. Once you have purchased an account on YouTube TV, you can start watching live matches of the Premier League.
Sling TV
Sling TV is the most economical streaming service. It offers several live TV channels along with on-demand content. It provides upto 200 hours of cloud DVR storage and allows for 3 simultaneous streaming. How to Solve Peacock TV Not Working on Philips TV
Sometimes, the Peacock TV app on your Philips TV malfunctions, and you won’t be able to watch the Premier League seamlessly. If you are in such a situation somehow, follow the workarounds that I’ve provided below to resolve the issue.
- Check Internet Connection: An unstable/Poor Internet connection causes the apps to buffer a lot, and you won’t be able to watch live matches. In such cases, reboot your WIFI router or reset it to solve the issue.
- Peacock TV Server Issues: If the Peacock TV has a server blackout, then you can do nothing but wait till it gets back to normalcy. You can check its server status on the Downdetector website.
- Restart TV: If the problems you face are minor, then restart your Philips TV to solve it. After doing a restart, you can watch the Premier League without any interruptions.
- Update App: In case you are using an older version of Peacock TV, try updating it. After updating the app on Philips TV, the app’s minor bugs and errors get fixed, and you’ll be able to watch its content without any issues.
- Clear Cache: Clearing the Cache on your Philips TV speeds up your device and gets rid of unnecessary files in your RAM. After doing this, reopen the app and check the issue is resolved.
