The Lions keep running up the score and unless the Power find a way back into this contest, the winning margin could reach seriously embarrassing levels in this final term.

The game is gone, the only question left is how big the victory will be for Brisbane.

Things go from bad to worse for the Power, with the Lions kicking their 11th consecutive goal to take the lead to 71 points.

This could get even uglier for the home side, as Horne-Francis has been in the wars – taking a blow to the stomach as well as a hand injury in the first half.

Now Zak Butters has come off holding his shoulder. He looked very uncomfortable while being assessed.

Both his shoulders were already strapped so he may have aggravated an existing issue.

He remains on the bench and the Power have already used their sub.

Lions 106, Powers 35 with 11 mins to go in Q3.

The Lions continue to kick away from the Power and now the home side has made a tactical sub at half-time with Essendon recruit Brandon Zerk-Thatcher subbed out.

Quinton Narkle is now in the game.

“Their backline is in disarray,” Crows great Mark Ricciuto said on Fox Footy.

The Lions were dominant that quarter and the Power have found themselves deep in the hole despite moving within a goal earlier in the term.

Even Lions ruckman Oscar McInerney was among the goals that term, as he kicked two majors during a run of seven goals to two for the visitors.

Power star Jason Horne-Francis hurt his finger or hand and was in quite some pain, and it will be interesting to see whether he can return in the second half.

Lions star Lachie Neale has left the ground with a cut on the side of his eye.

He has been patched up and looks like he is trying to get back on the ground although the half-time siren may beat him.

The Power are paying dearly for their turnovers as the Lions came up with the footy from an errant kick finding Hipwood 50 metres out, and he booted the set shot for his 250th AFL goal.

Cam Rayner pulled in a strong mark and kicked a goal soon after the centre bounce and now the Lions are three goals clear.

The Lions have finished the first term strongly as Joe Daniher booted a goal, while the Power look frustrated at their inability to get the game going on their terms.

The home side is far from out of it, but needs a lot of improvement to turn things around against an in-form Lions team.
