Jimmy Kimmel didn’t pull any punches as he took on Aaron Rodgers in the first show of the new year, responding to the New York Jets‘ quarterback’s recent insinuations on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Rodgers had hinted that Kimmel‘s name would appear on documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, sparking a storm of controversy.
In a roughly seven-minute monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night, the late-night host mocked Rodgers and demanded an apology.

“When you hear a guy who won a Super Bowl and did all the State Farm commercials say something like this, a lot of people believe it,” Kimmel said.
“A lot of delusional people honestly believe I am meeting up with Tom Hanks and Oprah at Shakeys once a week to eat pizza and drink the blood of children.
“And I know this because I hear from these people. Often my wife hears from them. My kids hear from them. My poor mailman hears from these people. And now we’re hearing from lots more of them thanks to Aaron Rodgers.”
Despite being pressed on the matter during his end-of-the-year media availability, Rodgers deferred addressing the situation until his appearance on McAfee‘s show.
Not pleased with Rodgers’ remarks
Kimmel also suggested that Rodgers either genuinely believed his claims or made them out of spite, potentially in response to Kimmel‘s jabs at Rodgers‘ top knot and vaccination status.
“He doesn’t actually believe it, and that he just said it because he’s mad at me for making fun of his top knot and his lies about being vaccinated,” Kimmel added.
The late-night host speculated that Rodgers might have been retaliating for Kimmel‘s mocking of a conspiracy theory linking UFO news to distract from the Epstein list.
“Aaron Rodgers has a very high opinion of himself. Because he had success on the football field, he believes himself to be an extraordinary being,” Kimmel noted.
